Responsibilities:

Conduct fundamental and applied research in ML, NLP, and GenAI, with an emphasis on practical applications in fintech

Prototype and benchmark novel architectures (transformers, graph-based models, RL agents, etc.)

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate research into real-time systems

Publish internal whitepapers and contribute to research discussions on AI safety, explainability, and fairness

Stay ahead of emerging trends in LLMs, agent frameworks, and financial AI innovation

Mentor junior AI engineers and interns on best practices and experimentation workflows

Build and maintain training datasets, evaluation pipelines, and model-serving stacks
Preferred Qualifications:

Strong foundation in AI/ML theory and hands-on research (PhD or M.S. preferred)

Publications or open-source contributions in AI/ML (NeurIPS, ICML, arXiv, GitHub)

Experience with PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, or agent-based frameworks

Exposure to fintech, trading systems, or data-intensive real-time environments is a bonus

Excellent communication skills and passion for open-ended problem solving
